Tap Get Started and choose Sail, Coach or Follow my child. Sailors then enter a sail number, and we look for tracked races you've already sailed so you can add them in one go.

You don't need to. Your coach adds you to their programme. To connect with your coach, open the invite link they send you, or use Connections in your account menu. A session link from your coach adds you to that session.

A sailor under 18 who signs up must give a parent's email. Sign up with that email and you'll be linked to them. You can also add your child, or link to an account they already have, from My Children on your Home page.

Some clubs publish results late or in formats we can’t read yet. Search for the event on the Confirm Results page, or send us the link to the results below and we'll add it. Confirm Results →

Open the result and choose Not me. It is removed from your profile straight away, and we won't suggest it to you again. Your events →

Add each class under Profile & boat classes. Search each sail number on Your race history, including charter or borrowed boats. We save the numbers you add events under. Rankings cover the Optimist only for now.

The Sailor Grade compares who beat whom in every race we hold, across clubs and countries, from published results and tracked races. Beating a strong sailor counts for more, and races you didn't sail are left out. It updates daily. For now it covers the Optimist, and coaches use it to group sailors in their programmes.

Profiles aren't public. Anyone who isn't connected sees only a first name. Coaches you're connected with see profile details, and on My Coaches you choose what else each one sees: sessions, training records, goals, event history. Medical and emergency details are kept back from them. Published race results are public already.

Only if you share them. Each note is either shared with everyone in the session, including its other coaches, or private to one sailor. A private note is seen only by you, that sailor and, for under-18s, their parents.

There's no delete button yet. Send us a message below and we'll delete it for you. Parents can ask for any child they manage.

Results, full history, rating, event checklists and coaching are always free. Sailor Analysis and Sailor Campaign add analysis and planning on top.

Yes. Annual plans cost 10 times the monthly price, so you get two months free.

Open Plans from your account menu, choose Billing and receipts, and cancel there. You keep paid features until the end of the period you have paid for, and your history stays free.

From Home, choose New programme under Your programmes. Add dates, then add sailors by name and sail number. Nobody gets an email. You can share a link to your programme's dates.

The core coaching tools are free. The coach plan takes more of the admin off you: full session briefs, attendance and payments.
